Damage Caused by Drain Back Up in Wilder, Kentucky
A drain backed up at this home in Wilder, Kentucky and caused damage to the partially finished basement of the home. Due to the backup, there were inches of mud and sewage throughout the basement. The SERVPRO of Boone County technicians responded quickly to the site. They extracted water from the hard surface floors, heavy cleaned them and used a pressure washer. They removed wet paneling and drywall and bagged the debris for disposal. They applied a plant based microbial agent to help prevent mold growth. The drying equipment was placed in the areas until the concrete and framing was completely dry. Upon completion, all debris was hauled away and the basement was ready for structural repairs.
